Ballistic Core

It derives the firing solution from physics

WupBallistic solves the motion of a projectile — from muzzle exit to impact — on a six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) model. Air density, wind, temperature, pressure and the effects arising from projectile spin are all included in the computation.

The core is entirely proprietary, with no dependency on external licenses or third-party ballistic libraries. This allows the system to operate independently in export and integration processes.

Capabilities

What It Does

Firing Table Generation

Generates angle-swept firing tables for a given ammunition and weapon combination; the table is computed once and reused in the field.

Environmental Modeling

Wind profile, air density, temperature and pressure variations are reflected in the solution according to actual atmospheric conditions at the moment of fire.

Monte Carlo Dispersion Analysis

The effect of uncertainties in firing parameters on impact dispersion is modeled statistically.

Comparison With Live Fire

Field firing records are overlaid on the simulation output so model accuracy can be tracked per firing angle.

Ammunition Database

Ballistic profiles for different ammunition types are defined, stored and version-managed.

Integration via API

The core can be embedded into fire-control and command-and-control systems through a C-compatible interface (DLL).
